| The south zone is located in Nanping, Nan'an District
of Chongqing, covering total area of 9.6 sq km, to the Yangtze River
in the west, Chongqing Changjiang Bridge and Caiyuanba Changjiang
Bridge in progress in the north, connecting with Cheng-Yu expressway
and the downtown, bordering Nanshan Scenic Spot and Yu-Qian expressway,
which leads to the sea. The zone is 3 km away from Chongqing Caiyuanba
Railway Station, 5 km away from Chongqing Chaotianmen Port, and 28
km away from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. infrastructure
and supporting facilities are perfect in the zone, and several residential
zones have formed in addition to IT Zone, Dangui Industrial Zone,
Huilong Industrial Zone and a central business district.
The North Zone is located in Yuanyang Street and Lijia Town, Yubei
District, covering a total area of 83.7 sq km. It is 6 km away fromChongqing
Jiangbei International Airport, 1 km away from Longtousi Railway
Station, the largest railway station of Chongqing, 1 km away from
Cutan Port, the largest container dock in West China, and 15 km
away from Jiefangbei, the center of Chongqing. Planned No.3 and
No.6 light rail lines will go through the zone, and four built expressways
(Yu-He, Yu-Chang, Yu-Qian, and airport expressway) go through the
zone and connect with each other in the zone. Therefore, it has
convenient transportation, plain hypsography and advantageous location.
Now Chongqing Export Product Processing Zone and Automobile Industry
Park have come into being while Jinshan Industry Zone, a modern
logistics port and a central business district are being constructed.
Water supply: Water in North
Zone is supplied by Liangtuo Water Plant with the capacity of 300
thousand tons per day. The DN1000~DN800 main supply pipelines have
been laid along Jinkai Avenue. The water distribution network is
laid at the same time with municipal road.
Power supply: Power in North
Zone is supplied by the 110KV Wanzishan Transformer Substation,
110KV Huixing Transformer Substation and 110KV Tongyan Transformer
Substation. In addition, the 220KV Cuiyun Transformer Substation
is to be built soon.
Natural gas supply: The natural
gas is supplied by Yuanyang Gas Distribution Station and Huixing
Gas Distribution Station. Medium pressure gas supply pipeline network
is laid at the same time with municipal road.
Communications: Telecom
North Zone Branch supplies telecommunications service for it. Optical
fiber will be constructed at the same time with municipal road by
communications companies including Telecom, Unicom, Broadcast TV,
Mobile and Netcom.
